After feeling like I had the flu everyday for two years, my doctor forcefully told me to be tested for allergies. He had suggested it before, but not in such a way that I took it seriously. I went to an allergist, praying that he would find something wrong with me because no one else had, and he did. I am allergic to many things, mainly dustmites, mold, and pollen. I now get allergy shots about every 3 weeks, take Allegra, and feel like life is worth living again. I feel even better when I go to karate classes, my favorite form of exercise, 3 or 4 times a week.

I've had to learn a lot about allergies to keep myself alive. This page contains links to some of the informational resources that I have found to be very helpful. I hope they help you too.
