It is me again... How did the non-Bombay drinker make it on this page? Maybe we need to take that person and line up a few gins (their's included), and do a taste test.
Also, if a martini is only considered a martini if it has vermouth, let me give you my recipe for my modified martini...
Take a clean, dry glass and add a few drops of your favorite vermouth. Rotate glass to ensure it adequately coats the inside. When finished, bring the glass to the back yard and leave it on a ledge until the next rainfall. Swish rainwater in the glass to remove any trace of vermouth.
The last step is to dry the glass, dig a hole, and burry the son-of-a-bitch. VERMOUTH DOESN'T BELONG IN A MARTINI!
Alright... in my martini anyhow!
