Recently i have added one reader field to a form and i have made one script for update this field with the rigth rol. My problem is: the field have been updated correctly but all the users can read the documents until someone edit them and save the changes, then only the users with that have the correct rol can read them. How can i do for updating the documents without editing and saving manually?

Why dont you write an agent to edit each document in the database and save it so that it updates the fields. That should be much faster.
