Hi all,
I'm kind of a beginner with Notes, so I have this basic question (Notes 4.6): how do I get the Script radio button activated in the Design pane? No matter what I do, this button remains greyed out, even though I have Manager access to the database (so the Create LotusScript/Java agents checkbox in the ACL is activated). Does this ring a bell with someone? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Daniel Greven

Daniel,
I'm also new to Notes, but i'm an avid fan and a quick study. Sounds like your trying to use LotusScript somewhere it can't be used.
LotusScript primarily is used for Agents, Actions, Events, buttons and hotspots. You can't use it in a view selection, column, or field properties...
A good rule of thumb is to use Easy Actions first, formulas second, and when these aren't possible, try LotusScript.
For more info, check out the Help section under Lotus Script and Language Overview: "Where to use Scripts and Formulas"
me if you're still stuck! Bryan
