hi, did u check if the classpath settings are proper in u'r system. i am not sure.. but i'd rather, u have them on u'r autoexec.bat when u get started .. remove it when u think u want to compile at the Command line(i.e. if u want. ).. otherwise, IE4 works well with any applet, infact even better than Netscape..
