People who know that I go to Las Vegas occasionally
have asked me about what they should see and do while they are there. I
am no Vegas expert, but I do have some favorite spots there. It is difficult
to remember and know everything there is to do because the town changes so fast.
It is not my intent to include everything there is in Las Vegas here, but
I want to show just a few spots that I always stop at when I am there and
some others that I believe might be interesting. I will be adding more
links as interesting places come to mind. Don't miss
Las Vegas 360.
The Aladdin
Ive stayed at The Aladdin twice. I love it. What got me hooked on the place is the live R & B and
rock music from 2:00 PM to 4:00 AM in Sinbads Lounge. I also like the look of the place, colorful and
clean, easy on the eyes. The staff is always there when I need them. The security staff is very
visible. This makes me feel like I can relax. The rooms, nice and clean, have a soaking tub. I
appreciate the soaking tub when the spa is closed and I want to unwind in water. Of course, the soaking
tub is not as nice as the spas Jacuzzi, but its a good second. One of the best things about The
Aladdin has to be its location. Its next to Paris, which is across the street from Bellagio. I can be
standing in front the of Bellagios water show in minutes.
Mount Charleston
I visited Mount Charleston July 2004. Very, very nice. Excellent scenery. Nice people. There is a
hotel and a lodge there. I visited both. The peacefulness they exuded was very restful. I look
forward to staying at the hotel in the near future.
Red Rock Canyon
I visited Red Rock Canyon, one of my favorite places to relax. Out there, there are no casino noises, plenty of clean air, and great scenery. Take a look at the pictures I took below and you'll see what I mean.
